Super sorry for the lack of posts, it's cause I'm either too tired or too lazy to do so. There are loads and loads of things going on at school and at home. The last time I posted something on this blog was on September, which is about two months ago, which means that I've missed the monthly-current-obsession-thingy two months in a row.

I've been focusing on school lately since I'm eager to get good grades this year, I've been going to softball practice every Tuesday after school until five-ish, I've been organizing my desktop because there's literally more than two thousand things all jammed up in eleven messy folders in which contains all my things from the first time I got this computer, I've been reading a lot and I am currently reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee for my English assignment, I've been streaming movies such as Moonrise Kingdom or 10 Things I Hate About You, I've been writing up the things that are going on with my life on my trusty journal, and I've been feeling the cliché emotional roller coaster that cliché teenagers have to deal on their cliché lives. But I'm currently on top, so I am both happy and I feel somewhat balanced. And because I'm absolutely too lazy to explain the details, here's a few pictures I took.

Alexander Wang Spring 2013

One of the things that I was waiting for to come out, Wang's Spring 2013 collection. Personally I've been a fan of his works as long as I could remember. Particularly I was eager to see his Spring 2013 pieces. Of course, when it came out, the pieces were a few of the most absolutely breath-taking things I've ever seen. From the cutting itself to the material. Loved how he sort of made the models look like Barbie dolls from the future all dressed up in the delicately made dresses and outfits from just a piece of paper, Wang absolutely raised up the bar of the whole creativity in fashion by using glow-in-the-dark materials. And the last thing I loved about this show is the models! I could spot a few of my favorite girls, from Liberty Ross to Monika Jagaciak.

That 60's Runway Show

Chloé Fall 2012 RTW

The whole cutting, somewhat slouchy structure and all reminded me a lot of the 60's. The colors reminded me a lot too, from dusty pink, mustard yellow, off whites, and rich brown. I do love this collection very much but I don't have much to say since it's absolutely too perfect. I liked the whole oversized and slouchy thing going on, which looks absolutely comfortable to walk around in the cold breeze in the fall.

P.S: A bit inspired by the clutch itself actually, might as well find some other obsessively pretty things that'll look good with it. Ha.

Karla Spetic SS12/13

I loved the entire idea of combining the masculinity of some pieces and the innocent pastel colors. I specially loved the variation of the materials that were used for this collection. The organzas, the pretty flower patterns, and also the crochets. The entire thing reminded me of those pretty flower patterns on quilts and fresh lemon, lime, and raspberry sorbets. I recently looked up Karla's previous works, turned out she's the genius behind the famous street skirt on Tumblr. Click here to see the skirt. So I'm looking forward for her upcoming collections.

P.S. Sorry about my lack of posts lately. I just graduated (Yay me!), so I'm on a summer break.
