Antoinettes in Versailles

Chanel Cruise 12/13

The whole ensemble of the entire collection is absolutely daring and perfect. From the setting, the location (Versailles), the models, the make up, the view, and the clothes, are just breath-taking. The collection in my opinion was inspired by Marie Antoinette slash Victorian tea party slash cotton candy pinks and blues.

Met Gala 2012: Agron, Mara, and Stam.

This year's Met Gala left me literally speechless. Well, speechless in this case was both good and not so good. Some of the dresses (Ex. The pictures above) left me speechless because they're absolutely stunning and gorgeous, well in my opinion though. My favorites are the three above, (Left to right) Dianna Agron in Carolina Herrera, Rooney Mara in Givenchy, and Jessica Stam in Dior.
The bad ones, left me speechless too, it's just, sort of pushing the envelope to hard and because of that the whole look, in my case, just blurted out as a blah. I haven't seen all of the pictures though, out of the pictures I found only those three are my favorites. Looking forward seeing Astrid Berg├Ęs-Frisbey in Chanel, Alexa Chung in Marc Jacobs, Liu Wen in Michael Kors, and Arizona Muse in Erdem Moralioglu.

Blue Jeans and Hawaiian Prints

Yet again Ksubi amazed the lucky crowd that got a chance to watch their edgy show on MBFWA (Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia). The setting was very simple and modern, just a plain concrete floor with a huge sort of an arch made out of wood. I guess in my opinion the collection was divided into three sort of different schemes, but those three things were a great combination to form this breath-taking collection.
The first was all about blue jeans, and yes, you can't go wrong with blue jeans. The second, there were lots of white, light blue, electric blue, and silver. The third one, which is my favorite from all of those three, is the dark Hawaiian prints scheme crossed with black and edgy moto jackets. My favorite was the long sleeved Hawaiian floral printed shirt which Rachel modeled and my other favorite was the dress worn by Bambi.
